The Bramley Advertiser, founded in 1891 by William Witts in premises at 110 Town Street, Bramley, was bought by Newsquest in February 2003. A second edition, the Armley & Wortley Advertiser was launched in November the same year as demand grew to cover a wider circulation area. The Advertiser series added a third title in July 2004 with the launch of the Pudsey Advertiser and July the following year saw the Horsforth Advertiser join the stable.
The four papers now cover an important and busy area of Leeds, providing a valuable advertising platform as well as keeping readers up to date with local news and sport.
In order for us to provide the best possible service to both advertisers and readers alike, as from June 2008 all 4 papers have come together to form ‘The Advertiser’
